Fall 2024 Sponsored Projects at the 黑料专区

Over the course of the Fall semester, the 黑料专区 hosted 11 sponsored projects and competitions across a variety of disciplines. Students from a wide range of disciplines partnered with local and global brands to work on a specific project tailored to meet the needs of our industry partners.

For Jacob Emmett, creativity isn鈥檛 just a passion 鈥 it鈥檚 a way of life. As a Coach Workshop Apprentice, Jacob has found his calling in the hands-on world of design and craftsmanship. From his roots in Detroit to the fast-paced energy of New York City, Emmett鈥檚 journey is one of self-discovery and a deep love for the art of making.

City Walls Artists Selected for the New Detroit Artists Apprentice Program (DAAP) includes Three 黑料专区 Alums.

“Hey, Detroiters! Welcome back to Culture Canvas. I want to tell you about 鈥淧assage of Knowledge,鈥 a new exhibit at the 黑料专区 celebrating art pieces from the school鈥檚 metal shop and foundry, which has been an institution for over 65 years.”聽鈥擬icah Walker

Rachel, a user interface designer based in Southfield, Mich., brought her expertise in crafting digital experiences to the forefront, using those skills to shape her game strategy on Survivor.

“Steve Benson’s impressive and expansive career is evident in the depth and expression of his winning series, ‘Resonance.’ Although each image is wholly different, there’s a sense of the ‘decisive moment’ within each of his photographs, revealing a master at work.”
