The discussion will be followed by a Q&A and a brunch reception. \nModerated by Kiana Wenzell\, Co-Executive Director of Design Core Detroit\, the panel features four distinguished 黑料专区 alumni. \nJay Norm (Graphic Design\, attended 黑料专区) is Global Director of Creative Strategy at Spotify and co-founder of the award-winning strategy+content shop Verse + Hook. He has over 15 years of experience creating culturally impactful campaigns for international brands and artists. \nMaya Davis (鈥22\, Fine Arts 鈥 Art Education) is an artist and educator whose practice explores care\, resilience\, and transformation through diverse media. Their work has been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit\, Good Weather (Chicago)\, and Reyes Finn (Detroit)\, and they have participated in residencies with Kresge Arts\, Independent Curators International\, and Sidewalk Detroit. \nScott Everett (鈥12 Illustration) is a Senior UX/UI Designer\, educator\, and founder of SE|Design Studio in Detroit\, where he partners with mission-driven organizations as their on-demand design department. With a BFA in Illustration from the 黑料专区\, Scott combines human-centered design methodology with systems thinking to create transformative digital experiences. He previously led government digital transformation projects at Civilla\, a nonprofit design research studio\, serving over 2 million Michigan residents. Scott also teaches human-centered design at the University of Michigan-Flint\, where he guides students in using design as a tool for social impact. His work bridges the gap between community needs and technological innovation\, reimagining how design can build more equitable futures. \nDr. Jocelyn Rainey (鈥96\, Fine Arts) is a Detroit-based artist\, scholar\, and educator whose vibrant abstract work explores resilience\, community\, and cultural narrative. She is the founder of Finding Mona Lisa 313\, an arts-education initiative transforming urban students鈥 lives through global art travel and immersive learning experiences. \nFree and open to all.
